One of the most unique, fragile and complicated relationships is the bond between a mother and her daughter. When daughters reach the point of puberty, the home, at times, can feel like a war zone between a mom and daughter due to the physical, emotional and social changes the daughter is undergoing. And at times this season of the teen’s life becomes a headache and sometimes a heartache for the mom.
Moms, I know how frustrating it can be to feel as if you are not connecting with your daughters. And girls, I understand how frustrated you can feel when you do not think your voice is being heard at home. The type of communication a mom and her daughter creates in her formative years can be the blueprint for how she interacts with other girls and women in the future. Therefore, moms, having healthy and positive communication is a key component in your daughter’s development. And this is where I can help!
I realized after many counseling sessions and from many years of mentoring girls that girls want to communicate with their moms, but are often scared of what the outcome will be when they are truthful and open. I hope to bridge this communication gap through my in-person and virtual mother-daughter coaching program.
You and your daughter will come together in a non-judgmental, safe space with me and openly discuss topics and issues in order to enhance your communication and impact your relationship.
